Flagship 12-week integrative programme combining cycle-phase acupuncture, nutritional therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and lifestyle coaching — built around the 90-day window of egg maturation. For women trying to conceive naturally or preparing for an IVF cycle.
Cycle-phase fertility acupuncture for women trying to conceive naturally or alongside an IVF cycle. Postgraduate TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics training; sessions are timed to follicular, ovulation, luteal, and period phases of the cycle for targeted support.
Cycle-coordinated acupuncture support for active IVF, ICSI, IUI, and frozen-embryo transfer cycles — including the Paulus Protocol of pre- and post-transfer needling. Sessions are timed to the fertility-clinic stimulation, scan, collection, and transfer schedule, with WhatsApp clinical support across the active cycle. Run alongside the fertility clinic medication plan, never instead of it.
Trauma-aware integrative recovery after miscarriage — combining acupuncture, manual lymphatic drainage, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional support tailored to your stage of recovery. Designed for the weeks immediately after loss through to the return of cycle and (where wanted) preparing to try to conceive again, alongside any GP or fertility-clinic follow-up you have in place.
BAcC-registered traditional acupuncture for pain, hormonal cycle disruption, stress, sleep, and digestive complaints. Sessions begin with a full TCM intake (pulse, tongue, history) so the treatment is matched to your presentation rather than a generic protocol.
Full TCM system — acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tuina, and Chinese herbal medicine — applied as a coherent whole rather than a menu of single modalities. For clients who want the full TCM toolkit or are unsure which combination fits their picture.
Manual lymphatic drainage for post-surgical recovery, lipoedema, chronic oedema, and integrative cancer-survivorship care. A specific, very light, rhythmic technique that follows lymphatic-drainage pathways from the regional nodes outwards — distinct from deep-tissue or remedial massage. Courses are typically 6 to 10 sessions over 4 to 8 weeks, front-loaded to the early window where the work is most effective.
A four-pillar post-surgical recovery protocol — manual lymphatic drainage, acupuncture, nutritional therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine — delivered alongside the surgical recovery plan to reduce swelling, support tissue healing, and shorten the recovery window. Suitable for liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, gynaecomastia surgery, and laparoscopic gynaecology recovery, with sessions timed to the surgeon-cleared start window.
Conservative long-term care for lipoedema — manual lymphatic drainage, anti-inflammatory nutritional therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and graded movement coaching, delivered as a coherent multi-pillar protocol rather than single-session symptomatic relief. Coordinated with your vascular consultant, lymphology specialist, or lipoedema multidisciplinary team where you have one in place. Designed for the long term.
A practitioner-led 9-day nutritional reset designed to lower inflammation, stabilise blood-sugar, and reset eating habits without meal-replacement shakes — built around real food, weekly clinical contact, and a structured supplement protocol. Suitable as a stand-alone reset or as the dietary starting block for a longer integrative pathway alongside acupuncture, herbal medicine, or fertility care.
About Claudia Ferreira
Body Perfected has been in Marylebone since 2010, run by Claudia Ferreira — BSc (Hons) Traditional Chinese Medicine, BAcC-registered (MBAcC), with postgraduate training in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics, an Advanced Fertility Nutrition Diploma, and a Diploma in Sports Therapy. Over 15 years of clinical practice across 4 integrative pillars: acupuncture, nutritional therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and manual lymphatic drainage.
The flagship Fertility Perfected programme is a 12-week structure built around the 90-day window of egg maturation — the shortest meaningful timeline for a change in cycle regulation, hormonal balance, or fertility outcome. Most fertility clients run the programme alongside an NHS or private fertility clinic, never instead of one. The single-practitioner model means the same TCM diagnosis (pulse, tongue, history) is taken at every visit, with treatment evolving as the picture shifts.
The Marylebone clinic at 1 Orchard Street is open Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 19:00, with Saturday by appointment. Bond Street and Marble Arch tube stations are both 3 minutes' walk. Clinical records are retained for 8 years per the BAcC Code of Professional Conduct; confidentiality, herbal-formula traceability, and adverse-event monitoring follow RCHM-aligned standards.
How It Works
A 75-minute first session covering medical history, current medications, sleep, digestion, energy, mood, menstrual cycle (if relevant), and lifestyle. Pulse and tongue diagnosis follow Western history-taking. From this we arrive at a TCM working diagnosis you understand.
Acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tuina, manual lymphatic drainage, herbal formula — chosen for your TCM diagnosis, not by default. Sessions are 60 to 75 minutes; you leave with a written summary of what was done, why, and the next-session plan.
TCM patterns evolve as treatment progresses. Pulse, tongue, and current symptoms are reassessed at every visit; the toolkit and herbal formula adjust as the picture shifts. Treatment plans are typically agreed in 6-week or 12-week blocks; longer-term clients move to maintenance frequency.

Yes — most clients run integrative care alongside conventional medicine, never instead of it. We never recommend stopping prescribed medication. With your consent we share treatment notes with your GP, fertility clinic, or surgeon where it supports safer care. We will recommend a specialist consultation if your presentation suggests one is needed and we are not the right tool.
Acute musculoskeletal complaints often respond within 3 to 6 sessions. Cycle-related and hormonal work plans in 12-week blocks because egg maturation and hormonal feedback take that long to shift. Chronic conditions, fertility care, and post-operative protocols typically need 6 to 12 sessions. We agree a clear plan at session 1 and reassess at every visit.

Yes — pregnancy acupuncture is one of the more established BAcC subspecialties. There is a defined list of contraindicated points during pregnancy that every BAcC-trained acupuncturist follows. Common applications are nausea, sleep, lower-back and pelvic-girdle pain, and (with research support) the pre-birth treatments offered from week 36 onwards.
